Winter fun!

An adorable trend is popping up everywhere. This style is absolutely perfect for fall and winter. It is socks and boots. Now not just any socks! Wool socks or lace socks. When the socks are peaking out of your boots a little it looks absolutely adorable! Combat boots or just a simple pair of ankle boots will work perfectly with this style! Plus it is super comfortable! You can get boots at DSW, Off Broadway Shoe,or Famous Footwear. And you can get socks pretty much anywhere! Pair the boots with legging or dark wash jeans. 

Combat boots

This trend is slowly fading away but it will be big this winter! Combat boots are great! This is great for lazy days with a sweater and jeans. They match and go with a lot of different outfits which is ideal for school. Celebrities everywhere are also wearing these adorable boots. Get some now before the trend even begins! America!

Now being patriotic is all year round! We have the new American flag trend that is being worn everywhere! The American flag on clothes, looks adorable! Even better that tribal print. In stores everywhere they have American swim suits, scarfs, shorts, tank tops, and even backpacks! This is so cute for Fourth of July or pretty much all summer! And even if the trend starts fading you will still look absolutely adorable in an American flag. It will never go out of style and it never has! 

Spring bun!

This is a super easy spring bun that I love doing on myself. (Use picture for guidance) First separate the front of your hair from the back. Tease the hair for more volume. Tie the back part in a ponytail. Next, curl all of the hair. Put the back part of your hair(in the ponytail) in a bun. Then take your front pieces and pin them around/on top of the bun. Now you have a gorgeous bun! This can also be used at prom,work, parties, or just every day. 

Lace!

Lace is back, and bigger and better than ever! Lace has forever been a trend, but now it is blowing up like CRAZY! Lace is such an easy way to girly up an outfit. That plain jeans outfit could turn into a look, with a lace top. If you feel a little nervous about trying an all lace top or dress, then scout out a top that maybe has a stripe of lace down the back. So many people love this look! You are guaranteed to find at least one piece that you like!

Oxfords!

Now these old lady shoes are making a comeback and are even cuter than ever. Oxfords are being seen everywhere. They are no longer just on old people. They are back with studs, lace, and bright colors. They can be worn with almost everything and look absolutely adorable!

Statement Necklaces!

Statement necklaces are probably the number one jewelry item in 2013. This necklace makes your whole outfit pop! A statement is a really big or chunky necklace that speaks for itself. I recently got an owl statement necklace, and it is absolutely adorable with everything. Statement necklaces can also have a very long chain with a cute item at the end. In my case it is a big owl. There is a picture of my necklace below! So if you want to make your outfit pop, get one of these necklaces and it will make you look like a model.

Summer Bikinis!

I have looked everywhere for cute bikinis that I like. I really want a bikini with a bandeau top. So my friend recommended I check target because she recently got a bikini there (shown below; turquoise and pink polka dots). So I went there and I was amazed with all the adorable swimsuits they have! There was a wide selection of colors and designs. I got a white and blue striped with pink ruffles. (Shown in a picture below) this is sooooo adorable! So if you are looking for a cute and good swimsuit, check Target! 

DIY bows

So recently I have been going to many stores in search of cute bows. They are either ugly, too expensive, or not even there. So I went on YouTube and searched DIY hair bows. Then I found out how to make them. All you need is fabric of your choice, hot glue gun, and hair clips. I used this video to teach me: http://m.youtube.com/watch v=9Or3QTBmIKw

I made 14 bows in 30 minutes for less than $5. They are super cute!

Gladiator Sandals

Probably all of the girls out there already know about this trend. It probably isn't even a trend, it is a Must-Have for ALL girls! Gladiator sandals are probably the cutest and most popular shoes in the summer time. The can come in millions of different designs. They can have studs, leather, sparkles, zippers, etc. They look absolutely adorable with skirts and shorts. Pair them with a fancy shirt and you are set! This buy will not disappoint you!

V-Necks

This classic is making its way back into modern closets. This piece has always been a staple, and now more than ever! Striped V-necks look great with almost anything. These pink tees look great with skirts and the great thing is that you can pair them with anything! Jeans, cigarrete pants, skirts, WOW! These are available are mostly any store. Some also have some cool sayings and quotes.

Bermuda Shorts

This summer, the trends are turning around! Short shorts, are more out, and Bermudas are coming back! Bermuda shorts are great all-around. You can wear them with crop tops, swimsuit tops or just a tank. Old Navy has some with awesome prints. These are great for really hot summer days because they are loose and air travels through them better. Most people look at Bermuda shorts like "mom" shorts, but really you can make them super young and girly!

Skater Dresses

Skater skirts, skater dresses, it's hard to keep up! These "skater" pieces have a girly base, but they also have a sort of grunge look. For the summer these are great becaause they aren't too short and they're not too long. There are also so many prints and cuts for skater dresses. Forever 21 has a huge variety of these, I believe Target does too. Be sure to check out these awesome versatile dresses! They can be girly and tom-boy, but they're still feminine.

Great quality makeup brushes!

Ever looking for a brush that is sturdy and doesn't have bristles falling off. Then you should go to your local drug store, target or Walmart, and get the ELF brushes. These brushes are amazing quality and are super cheap. They go from $1-$3 max! Get these now!!!

Essie now at Kohls!

I have just recently went to kohls and I found that they now sell Essie! They have a great selection of colors, but not as great as target. They are still $8 but if you have that $10 kohls cash then this is perfect! I just recently bought two colors and can't wait to get more!

Skater Skirts

These adorable skirts are so comfy! They look girly but not too girly! They have a very soft fabric that is great in winter with tights or in summer! I personally love to wear these skirts high waisted with a tshirt. You can find these at forever 21 and kohls for under $10! I am already in love! Spring Nail Polish!

YAY! Bright colors for our nails! Hip-Hip-Hooray! Now we can brighten up our outfits even more than before. There are so many new bright nail polish lines that we can't choose just one nail polish to buy! Essie has come out with some really pretty pastels, but Essie is a bit pricey. NYC nail polish has a gorgeous polish called Spring Street:

If you are really pale this color can make you seem tanner, if you are naturally tan or darker-skinned this color makes your skin look extremely creamy. The great thing is that every color from this brand ranges form $1-$2. Isn't that crazy?! If you prefer pastels Sally Hansen is coming out with some very flattering shades:

Bohemian Headbands

Boho chic is back! Recently on our blog there is a post titled Glam Headbands, this post is to expand on the topic of headbands. Headbands are one of the most essential accessories for Summer. If you wake up late one morning and have no time to do anything super cute with your hair just slip a headband onto your forehead and you look super laid-back, yet put together. If you have a shirt with a thin belt that you don't really wear, just take it and wrap it around your head for an even more interesting look. You can find them around the house, or go to a store and pick a couple up. They can be super cute with shorts and a tank.Or you can even make these cool headbands with your own hair! This trend has been popping up more and more. There are so many pants, leggings, shorts ,and skirts out there that have all kinds of funky prints. You can pair these awesome bottoms with graphic or plain tees. The best thing is that you can be extremely versatile. Wear some crazy pants with combat boots one day for an edgy look, and the next day pair them with some ballet flats for a girly look. The leggings are perfect for summer because they are comfortable and you don't get very hot in them! They are also very slimming. You can wear them with tank tops, sweaters, or tunics!  Leggings like this are popping up in stores everywhere! Although, they can range in price, but most stay in around $20-$25 . Go out and get yourself a pair!

Mirror..mirror protecting your eyes.

These adorable sun glasses are perfect for the summer time when you go to the pool or the beach. These mirrored sunglasses literally look like a mirror. The lens can come in all different colors and make the image so much cooler. But just because they look cool on the outside doesn't mean they don't protect your eyes. These glasses are wonderful for protecting your eyes because they reflect the sunlight! So these are so adorable and ideal for summer! Get these absolutely everywhere!

Land ho!!

An adorable new trend is just starting to peek out of the shadows. Anchors are now trending on everything! They have adorable shirts with anchors,nails,and jewelry of all kind. What is so cute for spring is, wearing a casual outfit and then a big anchor necklace to accent it all! Also the anchor nails are adorable! All you need is white,mint,and black nail polish. Then on each finger nail you make a white and mint striped pattern and then draw an anchor with the black, on your thumb or ring finger! These will go great in the summer so find them at Target and Forever 21.
